Henry Miller in charge along with 29 of New South Wales colony’s hardened criminals arrived in what is now Redcliffe aboard the brig `Amity` What happened in the following months makes for an amusing and interesting mockumentary movie piece of Queensland history.
The Third Commandant
The third mockumentary of this series amusingly highlights the life and times of Captain Henry Logan, the cruel and infamous commandant of the penal colony in Brisbane in the 1830s. A crazy solution to his still mysterious death in the colony is promoted in the movie.
